Russia Mission 2011

Our Russia Mission Team left November 1, 2011, headed for Kamyshlov, Russia. They arrived back in the States November 10th. It was a wonderful trip and God was able to do many things through them. Here is a summary of the trip from one of the team members:

“During our 10 day trip to Russia, we were able to accomplish several things in both the physical kingdom, and in the spiritual Kingdom. We began construction on a new 2 level stage. This includes covering 4 windows and drywall on 3 sides. And we left a projector as a gift to enhance the weekly worship services. We moved the kitchen to a new location and winterized all the windows in the sanctuary. We also purchased and moved 8 tons of coal which should heat the House of Prayer for most of the winter.

While all the work was going on, we were also able to hand out about 500 Bibles, over 300 Gospel tracts, and countless invitations to the church. Many of these were handed out to people walking to the train station which is located across the street from the House of Prayer. We had many prayer meetings and Bible studies with the people of the church. We also got to lead 4 students and 2 adults to Christ in the House of Prayer in addition to the one man we spoke to in the café during breakfast for a total of 7 salvations!

We want to thank all of the people who prayed, gave, and went to Russia over the past 5 years. None of these salvations would have happened without the relationships built over many years. God is doing an amazing work in Kamyshlov. Keep praying that the House of Prayer will be a light in a very dark place!”

Their itinerary is below along with the updates that we received from time to time.

Please pray for our mission team.
