Pray for Team Members and Missionary Teri Blanton and our interpreter Zoya as we travel.
Arrive at Kamyshlov. Greet the people of the House of Prayer and get much needed rest from jet lag.
6:47am – We arrived safely in Kamyshlov at the House of Prayer at about 5:30 this morning and are getting settled in. Some of our money was not accepted for exchange, so pray for wisdom as we budget.
November 3-5 We will minister to the House of Prayer by trying to complete construction on main floor.
Nov. 4, 11:43am – Today, we had many Bible studies and fellowship, got lumber for the stage, 2 tons of coal, and moved the kitchen. Tomorrow, the men will begin building the stage and moving the coal from outside to the coal room inside. Women will hand out tracts, Bibles, and invites to church.
We will be doing anything that Pastor Andrei needs done from getting windows ready for winter time,
having prayer meetings with the women, English class with Zoya’s class, reconstructing the main floor, have
classes for children and most of all, encouraging the members of the House of Prayer.
November 6 SUNDAY We will be worshipping with the House of Prayer, which is an all day event. Pray for our male team members,
as one of them will be sharing the Word this morning.
Today was awesome! It’s 8 degrees(not including windchill) and snow is on the ground. We had a great church service with 3 sermons, communion, lunch, and another Bible study, totaling 6 hours!
Ready to get back to work tomorrow!
November 7-9 We will minister and work in the House of Prayer again. We hope that we will be able to prayer walk and pass out Russian tracts to the people in Kamyshlov. We are also hoping to show the Jesus movie one night. Please pray that the hearts of the people will be receptive to the Gospel. If at all possible, we would love to be able to go to the orphanages in Kamyshlov.
Nov. 7, 6:32am – We have handed out over 250 Bibles in the city of Kamyshlov and finished moving 8 tons of coal. Our Bible studies and relationship building tie to the Russians has been amazing! Slova bolga! (Praise God!)
