We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at First Baptist DeQueen a great one!

In total, a First Baptist DeQueen church service is about 75 minutes in length. Services begin with the First Baptist DeQueen band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, our Pastor will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

Sunday's at First Baptist DeQueen are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. Feel free to wear something comfortable that you might wear throughout the week. The pastor usually preaches in jeans and sneakers.

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at First Baptist DeQueen, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety.

You are welcome to take advantage of the nursery for birth through age 3 and children’s church for age 4 through first grade during the service and small groups. Both are located down the children’s hallway clearly located by a Blue sign hanging from the ceiling in the lobby. We have a compassionate and background-checked staff of volunteers ready to help.

Giving is in no way expected from newcomers. Though, we do believe it is a joy to love and serve the church in every possible way including through the giving our resources for God’s purposes.
